Trimmer Max Royce Dickerson of Baldwyn, Mississippi, has died at age 85.
He was born on December 26, 1937 and grew up playing baseball. In fact, he received an athletic scholarship to play baseball at the University of Mississippi for the Ole Miss Rebels.
Max retired from his own auto upholstery business. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf and was an avid Ole Miss fan.
“He dearly loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren and spending time with them,” his obituary says.
Sadly, he died on September 9, 2023 after an extended illness. He is survived by daughter, Lisa Weatherly; son, Mike Dickerson; brother, Jon Lewis; grandchildren, Nikki, Jill and Ashley; and great grandchildren, Jaylon, Jordan, Silas and Evy.
