Step inside a 1969 Cadillac Sedan Deville

November 4, 2013 By Nadeem Muaddi

Auto Upholstery - The Hog Ring - Interior 1969 Cadillac Sedan DeVille

Check out the OEM fabric used in this 60’s Caddy and ponder this: Why do today’s cars lack so much personality?

Even if you think this interior is gaudy, you have to appreciate the fact that automakers were more willing to take design chances back then. Today it’s all – you can have anything you want, so long as its tan or gray.

But I digress. Take a look at these photos and transport yourself to a bygone era of funky styling:

worked on a lot of gm cars with big seats they weigh a ton. you can find the same type seat frames all the way back in early 50s.

My neighbor has a Caddy of the same vintage only white with a deep burgandy interior. The first time I saw inside I was blown away. I think it’s gorgeous.

I love this 69 Caddy too, but my 2012 ML63 AMG with 550 HP is not “boring”.
